Helmets sold in the UK for road use ALL need to be SNELL and DOT approved so protection wise they are all good.

Arai is an excellent helmet, you pay a premium for quality and comfort. They are very quiet and lightweight, making them a great option for long distance rides.

I also have an Corsair RX-7 with the John Hopkins replica which goes great on my Ninja :)

I personally have the Arai Corsair RX-7 Shinya Nakano replica and it's a very good helmet. I purchased mine from Hein Gericke whilst it was on sale for £375.00.

The Arai Corsair RX-7 does get noisy, noisier than the AGV I used to have, so ear plugs are must on my 'Blade. The vents work very well, cooling my head in summer and the liner does its best to wick sweat away.
