A lot of people think of BMW’s as being old, boring, odd etc etc, but you cannot be further from the truth. The BMW R1100GS is a bike that once ridden you do not want to put away and the enjoyment level is wonderful.
Also, contrary to popular belief, it is not expensive to either purchase or to run.
If you are doing any sort of touring I would fully recommend the GS
