Shark places a strong emphasis on the safety and quality aspects of their helmets. Their designs concentrate on the dispersion of impact force away from the wearer's head, while utilizing "crumple-zones" like those found on modern cars. The Shark S800 Butterfly is a very feminine looking lightweight helmet with really nice designs. It has a lovely understated look unlike most helmets out there with their garish graphics. It was very nice to find a product specifically aimed at the female rider instead of male looking helmets that happen to come in pink.
