You can't go wrong with Shoei motorcycle helmets. I have owned loads of them over the years and I have never had a bad helmet. The RF-1000 is high on my list as it is a GREAT all around helmet that fits well and is very comfortable and of course attractive to the eye.

I own a Shoei Raid, it's a really good fit and the visibility is fantastic, but I had to buy a foggy mask for it as it used to mist up a lot.

The Shoei XR-1000 is hands down the best on the market, top class finish. The Nicky Haydon replica that I have is superb!!

I bought a Shoei Raid 2 from a seller on eBay, brand new in the original packaging for £180. Excellent helmet.

The helmet includes 2 air vents, one that keeps plenty of air around your mouth so you can breath and not feel too claustraphobic, the other allows plenty of air to circulate round your head keeping you cool.

The Shoei is also very comfortable to wear, if you have the right shape head, as all helmets fit differently. At £180 i'm happy I got a very good standard helmet at a pretty reasonable price considering it's a brand name.
